Market, library dispute at negotiation stage
The Attleboro Farmers Market and the Attleboro Public Library remain in a turf war over parking privileges, but at least the two sides met face-to-face Monday in a negotiating session with a special city council committee.
The committee is charged with resolving a dispute over use of the city’s North Main Street parking lot.
Chairman Jay DiLisio said he intends to hammer out a solution within a week, but warned both sides that neither is likely to come out a clear winner.
