Saturday, June 18 is coming up fast
That Saturday marks the opening day of the 2016 Attleboro Farmers Market. This year’s market will take place over 20 consecutive Saturdays through the end of October. The market is open between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will once again be located at O’Connell Field at Capron Park.
“We are extremely excited to begin our 6th season, and are so excited to be back at O’Connell Field. Last year’s relocation was a tremendous success, and we are grateful to the Parks & Forestry Commission for the opportunity to continue the market at this great location.” said Heather Porreca, AFM Market Manager.
Once again, the AFM team has put together an exciting calendar of events Touch a Truck in late August, the Apple Pie contest in the fall, and the Pumpkin Sale to benefit the Hebron Food Pantry.
The Opening Day of the season will see the return of many of the familiar vendors that market patrons have come to know and enjoy, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on June 18.
Signs will be posted along County Street directing market attendees to the market entrance on Bushee Street. There is ample parking in the Bushee Street parking area, as well as additional, overflow parking along Blue Pride Way, adjacent to Attleboro High School.
