We are giving away free pumpkins this Saturday, the 13th, for the Carving Contest, the 20th.  All the carved pumpkins are to be donated to Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary’s Spooktacular on Oct. 20.

First Prize and a Kids Prize is free admission for 4 to the Spooktacular at Oak Knoll, a bag and a tee shirt (and Netties too).  After the competition the pumpkins will be brought to Oak Knoll to be displayed in the woods during their Spooktacular event.

Here’s how it works: Pick your pumpkin from our Pumpkin Box this Saturday, Oct. 13. Take the pumpkin home and carve out some fun. Bring the carved pumpkin back to the Farmers Market next week, Oct. 20, before 10 a.m. to be judged at Noon and hopefully win a prize.

Produce, vegetables and other local products will be available from these vendors*:
