Hot weather notice

It’s going to be extremely hot tomorrow. Many other markets are closing for the day, because they operate on hard surfaces (concrete/asphalt) which increases the heat index dramatically. The Board of Directors have decided to open the market under normal conditions. We will evaluate as we go forward. It is well within our purview to close the market for the safety and comfort of vendors and customers

We can not urge you enough to come early before the extreme heat of the day. Vendor participation is at their sole discretion. We will have water available and will using all of our tents to shade picnic tables. We strongly urge you to leave individuals and pets home if they are susceptible to overheating. – Heather, Geoff, Eddie, Dave and Vicki.

We thought the last couple of Saturdays were hot. They were. This Saturday, July 20, is expected to be even hotter. The temperature could reach into the 90’s by noon with a feels-like temperature in the 100s. Water will be available at the Attleboro Farmers Market management tent. We will be setting up all of our tents for maximum shade.

PARKING ALERT

The parking lot on Bushee Street is still under construction. Use caution. Consider using the high school bus entrance, Blue Pride Way, on Rathbun Willard Drive or the Capron Park Zoo lot. Construction on the parking lot will make it harder to park and should only last a few weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.
